An unveiling of the brand new Pop-up Furniture factory for Knowle West attracted crowds of local people when it opened its doors to the public last week.
A showcase of new factory equipment - including a laser cutter and CNC router as well a range of recycled furniture made by local people were just some of the attractions.
There was also the chance to chat to groups using the building such as Sew Clever and find out about local projects run by KWMC and re:work.
Operation massive Christmas tree sculpture, knitted and recycled plastic decorations in full effect with our Urban Escape juniors group tonight... Well done team!
Rope bridges was the name of the day with our Merchants group. The biggest challenge was carrying the rope from and back to the van without any wipeouts!!!
