With Oasis Academy Connaught students and the wet and wind didn't stop the fun!!! Wild life photography with KWMC and Forest School session went down a dream...
After a summer of wringing every bit of bag-making knowledge we could out of designer Juliette Smith, the team are feeling confident about teaching others to make their own. Watch this space in the new year for details of our workshops. Can't wait that long? Then come and play with us at Whisk on Tuesdays 10 til 1, and Wednesdays upstairs at Filwood Library 10.30 til 1.

The app allows groups of people to shoot films from many angles at once using their mobile phones. The shots then all go to a web page where you can shuffle them around like tiles. It's called Nth Screen and is being developed by Tim Kindberg at Pervasive Media Studio at Watershed on Bristol Harbourside. I made Nth Bird a film if many birds singing in a tree all at once.
You can drop in and have a look at the Pervasive Media Studio any Friday afternoon.
We visited MAKLab in Glasgow with the heads of Bristol City Council. With all the machinery and workshops on offer it allows local people to make their own furniture, signs, jewellery etc etc! Just what we are planning for South Bristol with our Maker Lab plans.
Isn't as simple as it sounds. The six colours combined and blended four times create a tweedy green effect. Even though there is only one green included !
The Junior Digital Producers at KWMC have produced some really interesting work whilst being at KWMC.
The room, which includes a full-size bookcase, television and grandfather clock is the backdrop to a survey encouraging people to reflect on their lifestyle and community. The furniture is brought to life in the room which allows people to answer questions by interacting with the furniture!
