It was brilliant to see and sit on the stylish and comfortable new chairs made by @EHPopUpFactory with @knowlewestmedia and @Reworkcharity @Filwood green today. All the furniture made at the pop up furniture factory looks just amazing, so well designed but also so professionally crafted, high end and contemporary. Fantastic example of upcycling.
An unveiling of the brand new Pop-up Furniture factory for Knowle West attracted crowds of local people when it opened its doors to the public last week.
A showcase of new factory equipment - including a laser cutter and CNC router as well a range of recycled furniture made by local people were just some of the attractions.
There was also the chance to chat to groups using the building such as Sew Clever and find out about local projects run by KWMC and re:work.

I found this on my phone. It was such a lovely day.
First market at Whisk Cafe, Knowle West Health Park to promote local traders and the Bristol Pound. The Sew Clever group produced an amazing selection of bags made from recycled banners provided by the Arnolfini.
We are making stuff, the stuff and selling the stuff all on and in Knowle West. Lat photo from Bristol £ market at the Health Park on Downton Road today, it is buzzing, I strongly advise you to get down there before it all sells out.
The lovely generous folks at re:work donated a vinyl cutter to The Laser House. That's two machines we have now !
